Updated: Jul 9, 2020

There's some good news on the horizon despite the setbacks with Covid-19 over the last few weeks! A phased reopening of the beloved Disneyland Resort has already begun with the Downtown Disney District. Disney goers and fans alike are itching to go back to their favorite theme park . . . So what should visitors expect during their visit to the CA Disneyland Park?

The Downtown Disney District offers a variety of shopping and dining experiences for guests and already begun to reopen! They have implemented new health and safety measures based on guidance from health authorities from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

Here are the 6 key things you should expect upon your visit to Disney:

  • Parking is allowed at the Simba Lot and clearly defined entrances to the Downtown Disney District Only

  • You will have to undergo a temperature screening prior to entry

  • Face coverings are required for Guests ages 2+

  • Physical distancing measures, including physically-distanced queues, seating, and physical barriers are at select locations

  • Temporary operations modifications including: reduced hours, suspension of entertainment offerings, and high-touch interactive areas will be implemented

  • An increased focus on cleaning and sanitation. And hand-washing stations and hand sanitizers in key areas have been added

Since many of these measures are new, and will probably evolve on a continual basis, please check their website for updates!
